Common Seas is working hard, committed to driving the system change we need to stop the flow of plastic pollution. For our ocean, our health and our future.

Your support will help fund projects like the below.

• Helping governments act. With a proven track record, we’re supporting lower-income countries that have high plastic pollution to implement ambitious and effective policy.
• Educating and empowering young people. We believe every young person should be equipped with the skills and courage to tackle plastics, and help make lasting change. We’re bringing our hugely successful Plastic Clever Schools programme to more and more schools and locations worldwide.
• Exposing the truth about plastic and health. We’ll continue to identify, investigate and communicate the health risks of plastics to change how we all make, use and dispose of them.

• Trialling Clean Blue solutions. We work with communities to demonstrate and test solutions to tackling the plastic crisis, including;

  • Reusable diaper enterprise. We’re supporting Indonesian women to make and sell reusable diapers in their communities. This cleans up some of the world’s most polluted waterways while generating income and savings for local families.
